In the past, FSR was only offered on a limited basis during select special events, and participation remained low. At the same time, allowing FSR added complexity for our staff in areas like sales, field management, and chronograph procedures while also introducing additional safety considerations. More importantly, we’ve listened to feedback from our community. FSR rounds can be significantly more impactful than standard paintballs, and for many players especially newer participants, younger players, and families this created hesitation about joining events.

Our goal is simple: grow the game of paintball and make it more accessible to everyone. By removing FSR entirely, we’re creating a more welcoming and consistent experience across all events for new players. Now you can confidently invite your son, daughter, spouse, or a coworker out to play without concerns about excessive impact from specialty rounds. We believe this change will help strengthen participation, improve the overall player experience, and continue building a positive environment for both new and experienced players alike. #growpaintball
